ACM - Colorado

The Annual Council Meeting (ACM) this year will be a very special event for the members of DBE in Colorado. We will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the establishment of DBE in Colorado. Our guest speaker will be Mrs. Marlena Smith, M.B.E. who is the Board President for the Western District British Home in Sierra Madre, California. This is the home, established by the Western District DBE members over 75 years ago and the home to which we remain a constant supporter by contributing 80% of the profit from our Victorian Tea each year. At this ACM we will also have our bi-annual elections. The newly elected board for 2008 to 2010 will be installed by our Honorary State President Mrs. Leone Lynch, wife of H. M. Consul Kevin Lynch. Kevin and Leone have been such great supporters of all our events since they arrived in Denver in May, 2007.
